Nancy Sharkey has had a distinguished career in journalism and is currently Professor of Practice at the University of Arizona School of Journalism. Sharkey spent most of her career as an editor at The New York Times. She has also taught at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, where she received an M.S. in journalism. Sharkey’s journalism awards include a Pulitzer Prize nomination and AP awards for investigative reporting.
