Emma Foehringer Merchant is a senior at Pomona College in Claremont, California.  She is majoring in Environmental Policy.

Teresa Welsh is a research assistant at Round Earth Media,  focusing on our reporting in Mexico and Round Earth projects that support early-career journalists around the world. Welsh is also currently interning at U.S. News and World Report in the magazine’s opinion section. She has been a program assistant at the International Center for Journalists.  Welsh graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a degree in journalism.

Linda Sjostrom is a web editor with Round Earth Media. She has worked with newspaper, magazine and radio in the United States and abroad. She is a graduate of Hamline University in St. Paul, Minn., and holds a Certificate in International Journalism.
